Elyse Harvey is a Certified Peer Support Specialist, Community Health Worker, and Parent Partner dedicated to empowering individuals and families through advocacy, support, and education. Drawing from her extensive lived experience, Elyse brings compassion and authenticity to her work with parents, children, and communities impacted by systems involvement.
Her personal journey includes navigating child welfare, mental health challenges, and recovery from substance use, as well as overcoming barriers associated with the criminal justice system. Elyse’s interracial marriage and shared lived experiences with her spouse further deepen her understanding of cultural dynamics, resilience, and community healing.
With a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, Elyse is committed to creating safe spaces for growth, connection, and long-term recovery. Her work centers on walking alongside others with empathy and purpose—uplifting voices that have been silenced and helping families thrive.
