Projects Completed and In Progress:
Endoscopy – A medical procedure room in 10N4 and an adjacent staff office were fully renovated to meet current clinical and operational standards. The project included new flooring, ceiling tiles and grid, an upgraded mechanical system with humidification control, and a new HVAC system with BMS controls. Emergency electrical power for medical equipment, installation of data ports and medical air outlets to support clinical procedures.
4S17A, B & C Pathology - A complete renovation of three rooms to accommodate five new grossing stations. This included asbestos abatement, antimicrobial vinyl flooring, and replacement of the metal ceiling with an acoustic tile system. Lighting was upgraded to LED, and ductwork was reconfigured. New plumbing lines for water, acid drains, and vents were installed for the grossing stations. Electrical upgrades involved wiring for workstations, cassette printers, Cryostats, and new data ports, completing infrastructure improvements.
13th Floor Mechanical Room Drain Replacement – During repairs, condensation pipes were rerouted to alternate drains to maintain functionality. Temporary partitions were set up to ensure safety and minimize dust exposure. Coordination with in-house engineers allowed repairs to be scheduled without disrupting operations. The floors around the drains were refinished with epoxy for durability and hygiene, and the drains were repaired to eliminate water leakage to lower floors.
22nd Floor Refurbishing of Existing Air Handler – Refurbished existing air handler, including rusted panels, and disconnected the related piping and ductwork. Installed a new air handler, featuring coated stainless-steel panels for enhanced corrosion resistance.
15th Floor Bathroom Renovations – Collaborated with Shute Plus to oversee the renovation of the existing bathrooms on the 15th floor. Their responsibilities included grouting and cleaning the existing tiles, power washing, replacing fixtures, painting, and resealing the surfaces.
15N21 & 22 – A complete conversion of two patient rooms into isolation rooms. The scope included abatement of existing materials, installation of dedicated exhaust fans, and modifications to supply air distribution and control systems to support proper pressurization. Additional upgrades included new HVAC system with BMS controls, flooring, lighting, and ceiling systems to meet current healthcare standards and isolation room requirements.
C-D Building Roof Repair – Identify and repair the roof leaks at the CD Building, assessing the roof structure, including flashing, seams, drainage, and membrane. Apply a high-quality waterproofing solution to vulnerable areas such as flashing, seams, and penetrations like vents, pipes, and HVAC units.
20E Anti Ligature Project – Renovation of the entire 20E Unit for Adult Psychology, including new flooring, lighting, anti-ligature hardware, ductwork, and furniture. Coordinating with general contractors to ensure timely progress and compliance with building codes.
