Operate and set up the slitting machine to perform the task at hand, utilizing calipers, mics, and other measuring tools to assure accuracy to customer specifications. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations. Operations on all equipment in the shop, 30-72'' slitters, shipping, and receiving of material.

• Assisted in training new operators on proper use of the slitting equipment according to company protocols.

• Set up and operated slitting machines to cut material into specified widths.
• Operated cranes, hi-lo and other equipment safely to move materials around work areas.
• Calibrated cutting blades regularly to ensure precision cuts were achieved consistently throughout production runs.
• Cut off excess materials for reuse or recycling.
