Emergency Medical Responder/Emergency Medical Technician

  • As an emergency medical responder for elite ambulance my responsibilities are to treat and transport patients while assisting my EMT partner. I have been trained to take vitals, make splints, suction, provide CPR, treat life threatening injuries and several more medical interventions to aid our patients.
  • While working as an emergency medical responder I have also familiarized myself with multiple different pieces of ALS and BLS equipment as well as medications to which I can aid in helping either my EMT partner or paramedic on the ambulance provide the best care for our patients.
  • As an Emergency responder I have learned the correct body mechanics to lift the patient regardless of the weight. I have experience with bariatric patients between the ranges 300- 600 pounds. I am also familiar with all equipment on the ambulance including equipment for transportation such as stair chairs, cots, etc.
  • While working as an emergency medical professional I have become accustomed to dealing with various different psychiatric patients. I have been able to deal with various different types of patients who all require different approaches. I have been in situations where I can de-escalate their mood, talk to them calmly to get them to go to the hospital to get treatment they need all without using unnecessary force or restraints in some cases.

  • As a physician substitute I am responsible for the safety and medical well being of all plasma donors in the center while on shift. I am responsible for treating any negative medical reaction they have while donating. I also am the deciding factor on whether the reaction is so dangerous that the donor needs further medical treatment and needs to go to the hospital.
  • I also give physical examinations to thoroughly review the donors physical health, go over all medical history, and medication. In my physical exam I examine the donor from head to toe to ultimately decide if they are physically fit to donate without it being harmful to themselves or causing any complications medically.
  • Furthermore my duties also include reviewing blood samples to determine donor suitability, reviewing plasma donations to make sure plasma is acceptable and meets our criteria and counseling donors for blood results of any serious disease or condition. I counsel donors on what they should do next if diagnosed.
  • I am also cross trained in other areas to aid in productivity. I assist in the lab work and work directly with blood samples and plasma. While processing plasma donations I also assist in the shipping and packaging of our samples, creating accounts and compensating donors for their donations, and aid in troubleshooting Nexlyk which is the system we operate on. I am also cross trained in several other positions such as registration for new donors, designated trainer and phlebotomist. I assist in all areas as needed from production and aid in any way possible to make sure production flows without delay or issue.
  • Finally I have also obtained the title as trainer and train others in my position to make sure they are up to date with all standard operations, are providing thorough physical exams and are making sure all documentation is up to date, accurate and detailed. While fulfilling all responsibilities I do so with great customer service and positive attitude.
  • I also am accustom to travel, for this company I have done my job very efficiently that I was promoted to assist plasma centers across the country to aid with new development, understaffing, and training new employees. I have become very familiar with my standard operating procedure where I can help implement it into new centers and new staff.

  • As a Mastec technician I am responsible for carrying out work orders given to me by my supervisor to install multiple pieces of technology as well as troubleshooting service orders.
  • The technology that I currently install is various types of security systems, thermostats, doorbells, cameras, televisions, cable satellites, and several more. I am even skilled with furniture assembly, working with drywall and installing power relocation kits.
  • Along with installing and working with various forms of technology I am also responsible for working with and training new employees and showing them how to use their tools properly and safely. I also train my trainees for safety for things such as climbing ladders, working with electrical, and driving their work truck.
  • As a Mastec technician I have familiarized myself with driving box trucks and vans. I have even managed to maintain a great driving score as well since our driving is monitored for safe driving.
  • While tending to those responsibilities I kept great relationships with my customers, made sales on new technology, and provided excellent customer service skills proven by my outstanding survey responses from all of my clients. I am punctual and professional at all my appointments and remain in communication with my clients for future sales, maintenance on their installations and for when my clients are referencing our business to their friends and family.
  • Finally, as a Mastec technician I am accustomed to working in any environment, rain, wind, heat or snow. The job is not finished until my customers are completely satisfied, so I can work in any condition, and any time frame whether in the morning or at night.

  • At NFI my initial position title was allocator. As an allocator my responsibilities were to create work for operators and hand it out based on the load by time. I made sure operators completed their work fully and emails were sent if any product was cut or if there were any difficulties while completing the order.
  • While completing the task of the allocator I did it exceptionally well. I made sure loads were completed in time, familiarized myself with all necessary computer systems such as SAP, and E80. I used both systems simultaneously to allocate orders, help troubleshoot for forklift operators, and stay aware of all remaining products in the facility. After staying late multiple days, switching shifts to aid with coverage as needed, and excelling in my job any way possible I was then promoted to operations lead.
  • As operations lead, I was then responsible for operators on the floor. I was given half of the facility to look after where I was given a specific number of operators, and work to hand out. My responsibilities were but not limited to, trouble shooting for operators, inventory, and all personnel in the office. I make sure all products are put on the trucks in an organized manner, all loads are completed by a specific time frame, and all Robots (LGV) in the facility are running properly and to the best of their ability. When needed I step in for other positions in the facility due to lack of coverage and with doing so, I learned how to operate a forklift, all the responsibilities of the window clerk as well as the guard shack.
  • I am responsible for making sure all operators are working safely and following all precautions while fulfilling their orders as I was also one of the head members of our safety team.
  • I also am responsible for continuously updating and Creating spreadsheets to track operators progress, how many loads have been completed within the day, and how many inbounds have been brought into the yard as well as what merchandise is in them.

  • In the data entry department at Chase, we are responsible for entering the data for all the clients in a safe, secure environment surrounded by security. We handle important and confidential information such as social security numbers, credit card numbers and bank accounts. It is our job to enter the customers data and send it to our client to aid the customer with their application to obtain citizenship.
  • While doing so we use several computer systems such as EMMA, EFLOW, JBAID, and many more simultaneously to enter the customers information as quickly and as accurately as possible. We have to help process thousands of applications daily so we must be quick but also skilled enough to not make any errors.
  • In the data entry department, we must work as a team to make sure no information is entered without any uncertainty, so we must communicate with one another and our managers to make sure all-information is correct. It takes great teamwork and communication to pass on information to colleagues, ask questions when unsure about particular responses, troubleshoot the technology being used when unforeseen errors take place all while continuing to enter the customers data accurately.

  • A NEMA concierge has several different responsibilities one of them being a form of security. Since NEMA is a residential building, it was the duty of the concierge to make sure no one was trespassing or disrupting the peace in the building. We reviewed security camera footage, handled noise complaints and worked as a team throughout the building to make sure the residents felt safe and the building was peaceful.
  • Another responsibility of a NEMA concierge is to deal with all issues the residents bring to our attention. We dealt with issues in the garage where we had to tow vehicles from residential parking spots, we accepted food and furniture deliveries, handled elevator issues, and other complaints we were made aware of.
  • As a NEMA concierge we dealt with a very fast paced workload where we had to continuously send emails to the right party. We worked with several different computer systems to do our job efficiently. We handled all incoming phone calls, and dealt with several third-party companies that partnered with NEMA to get problems solved around the building.
  • But above all else we are providing outstanding customer service by welcoming the residents home every time they walk through the door. We continuously interacted with the residents to make them feel at home. We de-escalated all aggressive situations, welcomed new residents, checked in guests as they stayed for the night, but most importantly we created a warm, friendly caring environment for anyone that walked through the door.
