Mechanical service duties include outboard engine oil and lower unit oil changes, inboard diesel engine service, troubleshooting and repair of hydraulic trim/tilt systems and steering systems.

Electrical service duties include battery and charging system maintenance, diagnosing/replacing faulty wiring in various electrical systems, installing GPS/chartplotter/fishfinders, stereos, trim tabs, bilge pumps and lighting.

Plumbing service duties include maintenance and repair of various pump systems and their respective water lines and fittings including freshwater and raw water pumps and washdowns, bilge pumps and macerator pumps.

Maintained various trailers for safely transporting boats and performed repairs on systems and parts such as electric and hydraulic brake systems, wheel bearing service, axle and cross member replacement and wiring for lighting and signaling.

Facilitated prep work and tasks associated with paint, gelcoat and fiberglass repairs.

Demonstrated safe launching and haul out procedures and trailer loading of all vessels and assisted with over the road transport of oversize vessels.

Performed routine service and necessary repairs on diesel pickup trucks and road tractors used for hauling boats.

Facilitated safe docking of sightseeing/historic tour vessels utilizing appropriate dock line handling techniques.

Performed routine maintenance and safety checks before and after river cruises in accordance with US Coast Guard regulations.

Participated in annual US Coast Guard vessel inspections and safety drills, including man overboard and fire on board scenarios.

Performed maintenance tasks including sanding, painting, fiberglass repair and pressure washing.
