Emery Varrie III, was Born and raised in Indiana.Where he started playing drums at the early age of 3 and has had the drive for music ever since. He would always sit right under the drummer with his drum sticks at every rehearsal, every service, it didn’t matter if there were drums,Emery would find them. Over the years he has had so many opportunities and experiences of any kind , ranging from playing the long church rehearsals, long church services, to recording professionally, traveling with local artist, out of state artist , working with artist one on one. With these opportunities came different genres that became easy for Emery to grasp and add his own flavor to such as, Gospel, Hip Hop, R&B, Country, Jazz, etc. Over time Emery grew and learned and took in every bit of advice thrown at him. Being under his cousin Lacy comer, Uncles Aarom Stixx Smith, joe Maddox, Brent Easton, leon Kittrell and some of his big brothers such as Cleon Edwards,(which they share the same birthday) Sputt sea Wright, Rc, Marcus Johns, etc he learned how to add his own feel, stay in the pocket, when to explore melodies and how to correctly. While having all this talent, that he doesn’t take for granted at all, he’s a quite guy but once you get to know him he is super down to earth, always willing to help in any way possible, always willing to share and just an overall good person to hang around. He may not be the loudest in the room, but he gains the respect from everyone in the room through his playing. Leading to him becoming a bit of a Social Media influencer, where he showcases his skills to play any genre, give drum lessons, drum setups, some of the artistry he has out side of playing drums, and also just having a good time with the ones he calls family.
