Inter-religious bridge building and leadership

  • Mindful Meeting (An Islamic Podcast), Guest Speaker. June 2021. Explored the importance of interfaith work and the intersection of shared religious values. Provided the audience possessing a limited experience of engagement with non-Muslims an opportunity to learn more about and appreciate different faiths.
  • Amal Tikva, Embodying Peace Fellow. 2021. Participated in a 3-month professional development program advancing locally adaptable strategies for increasing the organizational capacity and impact of sustainable peacebuilding. Spent approximately 20 hours a week participating in digital seminars, meeting with peacebuilders, and/or providing direct organizational assistance to under-resourced non-profits. Initially assigned to Mosaica as an intern, later contracting independently as a research consultant and content creator.
  • Muslim Jewish Solidarity Committee. 2020. Paired with an Imam and Hafiz in Gaza for weekly exercises strengthening the spiritual bonds of both communities, continuing to maintain cordial relations after the program’s conclusion in spite of the present war.
