Summary

To advance and achieve success within the field of Law Enforcement, which has been my chosen profession for the last nineteen years. To instruct and mentor those less experienced in proper procedures in criminal investigative techniques; as well as improve upon my level of education, training, and experience while working within an Investigatory position. To advance specifically within the Chicago Police Department and continue my work experience within the Chicago Police Department's Bureau of Detectives as a Detective assigned to one of the Area Detective Teams.

POLICE OFFICER

05.2017 - Current
  • Assigned to the Commander's Office administrative personnel since May 2017, responsibilities consist of fulfilling subpoena request, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, and Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) request
  • Liaison between the Commander, Detectives, and Chief of Bureau of Detectives
  • Areas of responsibility also include fulfilling request from the Chicago Police Department's Law Department and FOIA Department
  • Assist Criminal Sexual Assault Detectives in assigned cases involving sex offenders who have failed to register
  • Accompanied Detectives on victim interviews, search warrant request for extractions of phone records and social media accounts for investigative purposes, retrieval of evidence for court purposes.

  • Assigned to the Deputy Chief's Office in April 2013, my responsibilities consisted of the assignments and operations of the entire Homan Square facility to ensure daily operational task are completed and executed in a timely manner
  • My assigned duties required being a liaison between the Deputy Chief's office, Chief of Organized Crimes office, and the Gangs, Vice, and Narcotics Units assigned to the Bureau of Organized Crime
  • Responsibilities included the management of day-to-day watch operations
  • Areas of responsibilities included management of unit assignments, answering/directing calls from outside units requesting assistance from Organized Crime, and executing and delivering weekly reports
  • Worked within the Narcotic's Unit from May 2015 - May 2017, my responsibilities consisted of weekly reports, assignments of teams to weekend overtime initiatives
  • Entering of raid investigation reports, conducting surveillance, and daily liaison of communication between the Command staff and teams assigned to the Narcotic's Division

  • My assigned duties required being a liaison between the Commander of the 006th District, Bureau of Patrol personnel, 006th District supervisors, as well as the police officers assigned to the 006th District

  • My assigned duties required being a liaison between the Commander of the 004th District, Bureau of Patrol personnel, 004th District Supervisors, as well as the police officers assigned to the 004th District
  • I was responsible for the management of day-to-day watch operations
  • Areas of responsibility also included personnel assignments, management of team schedules and assignments, answering citizen complaints and concerns phone calls, while executing and delivering weekly reports.
