Accomplishments

  • In High School, I had taken multiple extra curricular classes such as DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America). In this class, I competed with surrounding states and counties and won awards for being the top of my class while competing. My senior year, I had taken a class where I was a peer supporter for the freshmen class. In this program, I demonstrated leadership as I would complete classes/training with the freshmen to guide them through the rest of High School and life after High School.
  • For three years in my teenage years, I volunteered with my recent employer, J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center. During this time, I learned how to use Equine Therapy for the residents. Not only was it a method of therapy for the residents but it was for myself as well. I had juggled the volunteer work and a full-time job at the same time; my love for what I was doing for the residents was well worth it though. My love for what I was doing grew so much that my last year of my volunteer work, I given the "most improved" award.
