Summary

I have experience with classroom management and student support in an educational setting though my work experience as a Student Aide (with a focus in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi) for Kumu Carlo Raneses at the Kamehameha Schools Kapālama. I have experience in fostering a supportive and effective learning environment. Proven track record of enhancing student engagement and academic success through collaboration with faculty and adaptability to evolving haumāna (student) needs. Strong skills in communication, organization, and instructional support.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to support my Kumu, Leinani DeRego Lauaki at our hālau, Hālau Hula ʻo Hokulani since the age of 14. Through which I utilized effective communication with my Kumu and fellow Alakaʻi to enhance learning the experiences of all huamāna. I also feel that I have a track record of fostering positive and inclusive environment encompassing all the values and lessons my Kumu has taught me over the years.
