• As a landscape foreman, you are responsible for overseeing outdoor landscaping projects, including: training and monitoring projects, ensuring equipment is used properly, ensuring workers follow safety rules, maintaining grounds, and completing administrative tasks. Will also be directing and working with crew members, ensuring projects are completed on time, to budget, and to the highest standard. It is your responsibility to ensure the crew has necessary tools and materials, as well as manage time, productivity, and material record keeping.

Installing frames and doors: Frame preparation: Locate the frame at the door opening, and attach base anchors to the floor on each jamb. Frame alignment: Use toggle blocks to maintain alignment during installation. Frame level and square: Ensure the frame is level and square. Frame clearance: Leave enough space for the door to swing, and some clearance on all sides. Door hand: Consider which way the door will be handed, as having the handle on the wrong side can damage walls and paintwork. Hinge attachment: You can attach the hinges to either the door or the frame first, depending on your preference. Plugging and trimming: After the door lining is fixed, insert plugs into screw holes and trim them to blend the wood.
