My role is to mine for the material the company works with, take samples, label and date it then send it off to the laboratory. I clean up and close it when all the material is out, I move into the next space and open a new pit. While doing this I operate the scraper. I also operate the excavator, dozer, and loader when needed on site.

• Carried out preventative maintenance on heavy or specialized equipment.
• Operated excavators and other construction equipment to properly grade land.
• Identified hazardous materials on job sites and took action to mitigate and enhance safety.
• Maintained equipment on-site with regular maintenance and repairs.
• Operated compactors, scrapers or rollers to level and compact refuse at disposal grounds.
• Loaded and moved dirt, rocks, equipment and materials.
