Give Supervisor a call before leaving the house to inform him that I'll be starting my fuel route and to see if there's any jobs that need be done before starting any job then I'll start my pre trip on the work truck and check all the lights as in turn signals , headlights , breaklights , horn , tire pressure , whisper blades also making sure I have all my fluids topped off power steering , break fluid , coolant , oil , transmission oil windshield washer, fuel in both tanks extra coolant and oil to complete jobs

When doing fuel route I'll start at the farthest location and work my way back into town just incase a job popped up while fueling my locations first thing I do is make sure I have all my PPE then write up my jsa then check in with the gate gard and the company man if there's is anyone on location then I'll do my walk around on the equipment and check all fluids and belts on the generator and check hours and if everything is good then I'll begin fueling.
Delivering and picking up equipment
Delivering equipment to location from the yard do a walk around on the equipment and check all fluids as in oil coolant belts and tire pressure also check for leack and if there are no leaks and everything looks fine go ahead and turn the equipment on and let unit run for 20minutes then check for leacks if there are no leaks get my gloves and safety glasses then get my volt meter and make sure I'm getting the correct voltage
When picking equipment up do a walk around check fluids as in oil , coolant , belts , leacks if there are no leaks turn it on and test everything out if there are leaks look and see if it's something I can fix on the spot and if not put a red tag on where it's leaking from and make sure put red tags on the equipment when getting to the yard
End of the day
Turn in all paperwork
Top off all fluids
Do a walk around on the truck and check everything twice before calling it a day
Test equipment before it leaves the yard make sure everything works.
Summary
Start my day off with a pre trip of the work truck top off fluids make sure tire pressure is good all windows are clean make sure there aren't any leaks.
Then I get with dispatch and see what's going on for the day if anything is being released or if anything needs to be delivered or refueled and if there isn't anything go dump some trash trailers do a walk around on the trash trailers make sure all the tires are in good condition, doors are locked properly ,brake lights, turn signals, chains, Jake's, wire harness, tung lashes.
