- For Cisco clients, I was installing and servicing Data Center Servers that included Nexus 7000, UCS Blade Server 5108, Supervisor Engines, Fabric Interconnect replacements, Fan trays, Power Supply, DIMMS, etc
- Also, in charge of creating Virtual Port Channels
- For several bank institutions, I would provide incident management, by accessing the client's hardware for troubleshooting, replacement and configuration deployment of Cisco routers and switches
- For Lennar, I racked two Cisco 3850 core switches, ten Cisco 2960 access switches as a stack and two Cisco 4431 routers
- I created cat5/6 cables for connectivity through the racks, required Vlans and trunks were also built
- For Royal Caribbean I was part of the PBX team where we installed CUCM in VMWare and thousands of Cisco and V-Tech phones were deployed and registered for Symphony of the Seas cruise ship in France
- For Level3, I worked activating circuits by enabling interfaces and adding the configuration on Juniper Routers and Alcatel switches
- I was also in charge of testing T1 circuits
- Once the circuit was activated, I had to make sure the line was clean, that the correct QinQ was provided and that the BGP neighbor was established and routes were advertised
- Various hardware was used to convert fiber to copper (NID) and to bundle T1 lines
- For Visteon, I deployed several switches and created the required VLANS and trunks to connect to an existing router
- For Growmark, I implemented a network refresh that required the configuration of two Cisco routers located at the same site
- One router was connected to an MPLS circuit with BGP and OSPF as the local routing protocol, the other router was connected to a DIA circuit with DMVPN tunnel and OSPF as the local routing protocol
- GLBP was configured to provide failure protection from either side
- For Heaven Hospice, I deployed the hardware and configuration of 2 Meraki switches running OSPF to replace 3 Cisco legacy switches that were running EIGRP
- For the City of Sanibel, I deployed and configured a switch that connected to a cable router
- Hands-on Cisco CLI administration including Cisco Routers/Switches, Cisco Wireless Access Points, multi-carrier MPLS, DS3, Metro-E, ISDN PRI circuits, DMVPN, ADSL modem support, routing protocols including static, dynamic (BGP, OSPF and EIGRP), 802.1x, VLANs / VTP, STP, Multicast and QOS switching technologies, and ISP Network Connectivity
- Network and project engineering including projects, cut-overs and deployments, network operations, outage / incident management and Change Management procedures, restorations and ticket handling
- Planning and execution of network projects such as migrations / site upgrades and integrations, and coordinate logistics for mission critical service delivery
