During my internship with SMU, I was placed under the care of Dr. Story and other students who were working toward their PhDs. There they placed me and the other interns to learn all the programming we would need to work toward a project we were assigned. For me, I was assigned to help fix a bridge that was no longer usable and was dysfunctional. Additionally, we also helped PhD students with their work, as we helped them identify which bridges and other roads needed fixing for their pitches.
