As a Hostess and Cashier at Buffalo Wild Wings, I was responsible for creating a welcoming and positive first impression for guests while ensuring efficient front-of-house operations. I greeted customers warmly, managed waitlists, and coordinated seating to maintain smooth restaurant flow during busy hours. I answered guest questions, handled phone inquiries, and communicated effectively with servers and kitchen staff to support overall service.
In my cashier role, I processed dine-in and takeout orders accurately using the POS system, handled cash and card transactions, balanced the cash drawer, and ensured all receipts and payments were correct. I provided excellent customer service by addressing concerns professionally and resolving issues quickly.
I maintained a clean and organized front area, restocked menus and supplies, and followed company policies and food safety guidelines. Working in a fast-paced environment helped me develop strong multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills.
