• First assist in laparoscopic, open, and robotic surgeries, including hiatal hernia repairs, ventral hernia repairs, lipoma excision, cholecystectomy, appendectomy, colectomy, excisional node biopsy, gastropexy, ect.
• Manage weight loss medications and diabetes mellitus with training from the Obesity Medicine Association.
• Conduct thorough daily rounds, assessing patient needs and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• First assist in bariatric surgeries with robotic training, including sleeve gastrectomy, RNYGBS, single anastomosis duodenal switch, and lap band removal.
• Perform in-clinic procedures such as incision and drainage of abscesses, excision of sebaceous cysts, suture and staple removal, G-tube replacement and removal, and wound dressing changes.
• Consult and evaluate new surgical patients.
