I feel that I am a personable and compassionate candidate with dedication to patient care. I have a high understanding of medical terminology and proficiency to support healthcare teams. • Web Coordinator [January 2019 to July 2020] - Created a website with learning modules to facilitate networks of support online, especially those approaching the end of their lives. Compiled a resource database so that many may use it to plan for their futures or find networks for support. Learned how to lead and work efficiently with a team.
• Peer-Led Undergraduate Studying (PLUS) Facilitator [January 2019 to May 2020] - Guided student study groups and helped students understand complex topics. Met weekly with the professor to help fellow peers gain clarity on confusing class topics. Answered questions concerning homework. Fostered a successful, judgment-free learning environment.
• Volunteer Experience in Online Program [August 2023 to October 2024] - Was a volunteer tutor for a nonprofit that provided free tutoring to at-risk students, guiding and mentoring those facing educational challenges. Used an online platform to offer one-on-one support, adapting my teaching style to meet each student’s individual needs.
