As a project architect, Emily Bell enjoys the design challenges of working with existing buildings and complex program needs. She is currently working on the renovation of Emma Willard School’s Alumnae Chapel, converting the existing sanctuary into a flexible performing arts space. She leads the consultant team, manages the BIM model, oversees design deliverables, and is involved in all client design discussions.
She was a key part of the construction administration team of one of the firm’s most complex academic projects, the transformation of a 195,000 SF Collegiate Gothic complex into Yale University’s new Humanities Quadrangle. Before joining the firm, she worked on several laboratory renovations for academic institutions, contributing to every design phase, from programming through construction administration.
Emily is the co-Chair of Women in Design at the Boston Society of Architecture, and facilitates events to highlight or aid the success of female design professionals in the Boston area.
