EMILY CARR

Being a nurse in the critical care specialty has been both challenging and rewarding, as I have diligently expanded my clinical knowledge in a high-acuity environment. My experience in the ICU and PACU has helped me advance my nursing clinical practice and critical thinking skills. As I continue to grow in my nursing practice, I am unconditionally drawn to educational involvement in my career, both with patients and as a mentor to upcoming nurses; as a result, I have committed to obtaining my MSN in nursing education with the ambition to continue my passion for education. However, there is always room to grow as a nurse, and I am compelled to still seek out more opportunities in my nursing career as a PACU nurse.
