As an ICU nurse I've implemented evidence-based practice guidelines when caring for critically ill patients, successfully managed multiple tasks while maintaining focus on providing safe, high-quality patient care. I take time education family members on proper home-care techniques for discharged patients. I also assisted physicians with various invasive procedures within the ICU setting. I ennsure compliance with hospital policies and procedures related to ICU operations. I independently manage patient pain and discomfort through effective pain management strategies, enhancing patient comfort. I complete my patient assessments, triaged and recorded patient histories, symptoms and observations.

As a Registered Nurse in the ER, my responsibilities include triaging patients and assessing their stability, inserting IVs and management of pharmacological drips, and assisting doctors with moderate sedation and intubations. Additional responsibilities include communicating and updating physicians on patient status, accurately documenting patient information and intervention, advocating for patients and family, and precepting new nurses to the department.

As a nurse extern my responsibilities included checking vital signs, I&O's, bathe and peri-care, blood glucose monitoring, assisting in cervical checks, maintaining patient on fetal monitor, assisting in repositioning of patient, assisting in setting up and maintaining sterile field, and cleaning and stocking/setting up operating rooms.
