I have worked in the horticulture industry for over 5 years and have a strong passion for it. I grew up on a small farm in Northwestern CT and have loved farming since I was a kid. I thrive in an outdoor setting and have always had an intense interest in wildlife in particular plants and trees. I went to school for Plant science but also studied ornithology, vertebrate biology, and wildlife management which only increased my love and passion for the outdoors. Over the past few years I have gained strong customer service skills from dealing with the average homeowner, to large commerical landscapers, and most recently large plant vendors across the country. I pride myself on my generosity and people skills and I truly believe these are what have made me successful today. I also am very skilled with computers and am proficient with word, excel, and many other sources. I am also a fast learner and quick to pick up on new systems.
