At RSI I was the office managers assistant, I helped to answer phones, type out trip sheets for drivers, took care of yearly trip paper work, filing, among other paperwork pertaining to the bus driving side of the business.
  • I drove sports trips and educational trips on the evenings and weekends for both companies.

Additional Information

  • I am currently learning carpentry skills from my brother. I am assisting him in building a new construction home.
  • I also taught beginner Sign Language classes at my church. I utilized an online web site to plan weekly courses, explain objectives, teach vocabulary and common phrases to the hearing community so they could communicate with people from the Deaf community. With permission from ASLU University, I was able to use their lesson plans to accurately teach a class of approximately 15 adults and children how to communicate using sign language. I taught four 12 week courses over a period of 2 years.

Conclusion

The skills I have acquired over my career at Schneider have brought me full circle to this job opportunity. I am excited to take my career to a higher standard to elevate and help drivers in the bulk division and to bring the skills I possess to the team.
