  • At this job I began on the rehab unit as a Team Leader for 6 months then I was promoted to leadership and Medical Records Coordinator. In November 2014 I was promoted to Quality Assurance Coordinator. My job duties included tracking, investigation, and placing interventions for all occurrences in the facility. I also tracked all wounds and managed them and kept weekly communication with Primary Care Providers and the Medical Director. I was responsible for the restorative nursing documentation. I setup 90 restorative plans and placed residents on restorative programs. I worked hand in hand with my DON. My job for medical records included making sure resident information is entered currently into electronic charting and keeping resident's information secure. Also, I was responsible for Admits/Discharges, Audits, education, filing, and guide, motivate, and evaluate employees. Also, I am responsible for implementing policies and procedures. Also, educated staff on new policies and assisted with payroll, scheduling and staff issues. I also gained experience with wound care and wound VACS. I was the wound care nurse as well.
