Assists therapists in treating patients by educating, instructing, and addressing any questions regarding treatment, as well as ensuring all exercise is performed safely. Serves as a liaison between therapist and patient, maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the clinic. Sets up treatment area with all equipment required for session. Multitasks all responsibilities and effectively communicates with team members continuously through out shift to perform aide duties.
Serves as point of contact with Operations team, managing inventory for both medical and office supplies and conducts custom orders. Assess facility compliance with Department of Health guidelines as well as those required by hospital system.
Translates all pertinent information for Spanish speaking population including Initial Assessments, information regarding treatment sessions, insurance, payments, or scheduling.
Instructs all incoming rehabilitation aides on exercises necessary for treatment, maintaining efficient workflow, maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of equipment, and all other responsibilities. Serves as a team leader in managing all aides during their onboarding process, has trained 10-15 people throughout employment. Organizes aide schedule per month and coordinates coverage for any vacant shifts amongst 15+ aides of clinic. Effectively manages time to address all managerial tasks.
Able to perform all duties of an administrative assistant including managing patient schedules, answering any questions regarding insurance, billing, or different therapies offered by the department, coordinating services for patients not provided at site, maintaining organization of patient records and forms necessary for treatment.
