My main duties are creating and maintaining accurate records of student attendance, class schedules, grades, demographic statistics, immunizations, confidential information, etc. I use a specialized computer system along with word processing and spreadsheet programs to keep these records. Due to the size of my school, we do not have a receptionist. There for along with my regular Data Manager duties I also answer the phone, greet parents, students and visitors when they enter the office. I often help parents check in/out their child(ren) if they are tardy or need to leave school early. Over the past few years, I have also taken on the responsibility of creating and selling our school yearbook.
I was responsible for answering the phone and greeting students, parents, and visitors who entered the school. I also helped the principal, secretary, and data manager with clerical duties as needed. When not working as receptionist I was able to substitute in classrooms for teachers who were out sick or at staff trainings.
My duties were keeping accurate bank records and providing account services to back customers.
