  • Shift Leader for all shift positions such as: first, second, third and weekend shifts. I would direct team members where we needed them, answer and direct phone calls to ensure communication was not lost. Preformed department walk throughs to ensure everything was properly stocked, portables where running correctly, and complete daily crash cart audits. When issues arrived, i would have to come up with a plan on how to overcome them, and ensure that the issues where reported properly in order to have it fixed. Preformed morning and evening huddles to properly comminate to my colleges any issues, pending studies, and any other necessary information.
  • Preformed Quality Control duties to ensure imaging is suitable for radiologists. Monitor outside studies from partnering clinics. Communicate with PACS team when i am unable to solve the issue myself.
  • Worked at front desk to check in patients for all radiology departments, and directed them to the location they needed to be.
  • Worked in the Emergency Department preforming standard Diagnostic Imaging and Portables. Ensured STAT Studies where read in a timely manner.
  • Preformed diagnostic imaging based on hospital's SOP. I also displayed exceptional patient care to ensure all my patients are comfortable, and tried my best to minimize pain when preforming exams. I have used a variety of all different x-ray machines to include CR and DR, older models and new.
  • Preformed Portable X-rays for PACU, NICU, ICU, Trauma Cases and Emergency C-Sections.

  • Assisted with Fluoroscopy studies when given the opportunity.
  • Primary contact for Infection Control for Diagnostic Radiology. I would ensure Diagnostic Radiology was continuously minimizing the spread of infection by having the proper supplies/ preforming to the correct standard, and attending monthly meetings.
  • I was a Primary The Joint Commission (TJC) Tracer auditor for CT, MRI, and occasionally Diagnostic and Ultrasound Departments. I would Preform monthly audits to ensure these departments were up to TJC Standards, ask the staff questions, and document the areas that were deficiencies.

I also would take Italian reports from surrounding facilities, and push them to a translation contractor to ensure patients would have their translated reports in their record. I trained all their new staff how to preform their duties, and fix the efficiency of the department caused by the staff before me.
