Summary

Pursuing a career in film has been my one and only dream since I was a little girl. I have never felt the euphoric feeling I get whenever I am working on a film project. When my pen hits the paper, it doesn’t stop. My imagination gets an adrenaline rush. The creativity when writing and making an animation or film is what drives me. I have always been a creative person and being able to make anything that pops into your head come to life in a film is beautiful. I can make anything I want! There is so much range that I want to play with. I have an idea for a zombie film, but I also want to make a documentary about black independent filmmakers. I am in the process of writing two animation films that I know will be Oscar nominated when I am done! Whenever I have free time, I am writing. I want my life to be film 24/7. When you can’t think about anything, but that one thing-that is your passion. I am a hard-working individual with a positive attitude. I love every part of making a film idea come to life. The writing, the lighting, camera work, acting, voice overs, editing, audio/sound. It takes so much, but it is so worth it. Seeing your creative idea on a big screen and seeing all of your hard work in its final, finished edit is breathtaking. I cannot wait to become the astonishing filmmaker I am going to be. The astonishing filmmaker I am DESTINED to be. Thank you to Animation Mentor for giving me a scholarship to start my animation career!
