• Served as staff within the Teen Program, focused on middle school–aged children, providing supervision, mentorship, and structured activities.
• Independently managed groups of up to 25 teenagers, ensuring safety, engagement, and positive behavioral guidance.
• Provided transportation and supervision for off-site field trips, including destinations as far as Orlando.
• Entrusted with a city-issued credit card for program and trip-related expenses, demonstrating financial responsibility and accountability.
• Acting Supervisor, Summer 2019 (Shore Acres Recreation Center): Oversaw the Teen Program, supervising 3 staff coaches and ensuring safe, organized programming for more than 100 participants.

Experience Supporting Children with Special Needs

• Worked with children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Down Syndrome.
• Provided individualized support, including one-on-one attention for nonverbal and low-functioning children with ASD, to promote engagement, learning, and developmental growth.
