Marketing Coordinator/Administrative Assistant

Responsible for all marketing, social media, and graphic design across the Department. Manage additional administrative and faculty support, as needed.



  • Continue to dramtically expand social media following and outreach on social media with students and alumni. Increased @ucla_theater Instagram following x3 (by over 2500+) and began spotlighting current students and alumni to further increase engagement and following.
  • Define and deliver all marketing and design to support Department of Theater productions and newsletters. Designed and created more than 300 unique graphics including show posters for the entire annual production calendar using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva. Leverage Mailchimp to send multiple weekly emails including supporting promotion of all performances. Build out weekly newsletters and interface with dozens of individuals to gather information.
  • Expanded marketing of the summer high school program beyond Facebook to include 6 targeted campaigns with Broadway World over the last year and a half. Designed 10-20 graphics per push and managed Broadway World relationship. Expanded promotion to include video advertising and personally created 12 promotional videos using Adobe Premiere. Continue to assist in managing the summer marketing budget.

Built and supported the social media for UCLA TFT Summer Institutes, 10 training intensives for high school students. Position evolved into a full-time marketing role.


  • Built social media @ucla_tsi from the ground up. Created calendars for each program's promotions, and created the entire branding around our summer social media. Decided to focus heavily on giving audiences windows into our summer programs through consistent story posting so parents and prospective students could see what our students experiences daily.
  • Had a heavy focus on daily creative stories in real-time of every summer program – this is showcased in the highlights section of our Instagram) and attend sessions and rehearsals, engage students and faculty, and curate the entire social media presence for the program.
