  • Serve as the school district liaison with the Front Porch which is a collaboration of community agencies that work to assist youth and families who are at risk of becoming involved with the Court for delinquency, dependency and children in need of services (CHINS) to access available community resources that lead to better outcomes for both the youth and their families and improved community safety
  • Work with district administrators, guidance counselors, and school staff to refer students and their families for services that may include: counseling, mentorship programs, tutoring, pro-social groups, family counseling, educational and/or medical evaluations, medication management, etc.
  • Collaborate with Front Porch case managers to provide background educational and behavioral information to assist in establishing comprehensive services for students and their families.
  • Provide intensive interventions (social emotional learning/academic assistance) to students as an alternative to suspension.

Design and implement both individual and group behavior management/modification programs for special needs students, as well as regular education students.
