Hello! My name is Emily Owens. I am 27 and have studied music since I was four years old. I have played violin specifically for the past 23 years. In my time as a musician, I have earned two music degrees, competed in countless competitions, studied with many amazing teachers, and even recently made my debut in Ortona, Italy at a summer music festival.
Since 2019, I have taught in the Louisiana public school system. Between 2019 and 2022, I served as the assistant orchestra director for our local high school orchestra program, and since fall of 2022, I have served as an 8th grade ELA and Math teacher. While I love teaching, I am eager to pursue a career in the field in which I have dedicated the last 23 years. Music is my passion, and I am excited to share it with the world!
Thank you for viewing my profile and considering me for your company!
