    I previously worked at Maplewood in a different capacity-as a CNA/Med Aide When I started, that was a newly created position It was a Team Lead position that was meant to oversee the unit as a whole while providing medications and assisting with ADLs as needed The team lead wss also in charge of the development and coordination if daily, weekly, and monthly routines that included exercises, mental and physical activities the towards enriching the daily of residents in different stages of dementia We also developed individualized tasks/activities for decreasing external stimuli and de-escalating potentially negative behaviors
