Similar to my previous coffee shop job, I was expected to provide quality customer service, engaging with the customer while also making the products with quality and efficiency. I had to handle money, clean and run the machines properly, as well as handle food items. As a shift lead, my job was to "run" the shift and ensure it ran as efficiently and effectively as possible. I was expected to count out a till before and after my shift ensuring transactions throughout the period were carried out successfully. I also had to count and drop off deposits as well as get the correct change from the bank. I was also expected to train new hires and attend additional leadership meetings.
As a receptionist I had to answer phone calls, handle money and payments, schedule appointments, look up insurance benefits, file patient records, communicate with patients and doctors and keep appointments running on time. I also had to keep up with general housekeeping/cleaning tasks.
At Cowboy Coffee I was expected to provide quality customer service, engaging with the customer while also making the products with quality and efficiency. I had to handle money, clean and run the machines properly, as well as handle food items. I also helped to train new employees.
I made the "President's List" every term while pursuing my degree at CCC, meaning I maintained a 3.75 GPA or higher.
I love to give back through volunteering within my community, especially in our elementary schools, I have helped in multiple classrooms throughout the school year and summer school.
