I am currently seeking an ESL teaching position in the Lakeland School District for the 2023-2024 school year. I have been teaching for the past 25 years. I have a huge passion for my job, my community, my colleagues and most of all MY STUDENTS. I have been in the Memphis Shelby County School district for eight years. I live very close to Lakeland and am very much looking forward to the challenges and transformation that come along with this transition. Skilled ESL Instructor versed in using effective and efficient methods of teaching while focusing on individual student needs. Experience teaching ESL at elementary and middle school grade levels for students from over 3 different cultural backgrounds.
