COMMUNITY SERVICE

  • St. Mary Immaculate, Church Volunteer, PLAINFIELD, IL, 2022-05, 2023-08, The past 2 summers i have worked with my church to provide assistance to those with food insecurity. Each week i would help put meals together for families to pick up for the week. We would then hand out the meals after church service on Sunday.
  • Foster Grandparents, Community Work Volunteer, romeoville, IL, 2022-09, 2022-12, Developed a relationship with an elderly women over 4 months by engaging in phone calls bi-weekly. The goal of the program was to provide support for lonely elderly folks. We would talk for an hour at a time and it genuinely helped this older woman cope with her loneliness. I enjoyed being able to bring light and laughter to her life for 2 hours a week.
