• Worked alongside a professor and other students at Stockton University to study a new project in Drosophila genetics. The experiment was designed to sequence the genomes from isofemale populations of Drosophila melanogaster using the Nanopore Genome Sequencer.
• Another protocol involving, the Qiagen DNA Tissue and Blood Kit, was used to repeat extractions of the same Drosophila melanogaster to compare the results.
• Presented at the NAMS (School of Natural Science and Mathematics) Symposium during May, 2023 and graduated in with distinction in May, 2024 as a result.

I have connected with a number of residents. From playing games to helping them with chores around their apartments, I have been able to talk with residents about the things that are most important to them in life.

• ENGin Volunteer

ENGin is a global nonprofit organization that pairs English-speaking volunteers with aspiring English learners from around the world. I was paired with a nineteen-year-old female from Ukraine who I met with bi-weekly on Zoom for four months. Not only was I able to share my knowledge of the English language with her, but I was also able to learn about Ukrainian customs and values.

I worked alongside a few other youth group leaders to organize church community events and plan fundraising events. I met weekly with the group to provide mentorship and inspiration to the youth in the church community. I assisted in teaching Sunday School and organized activities that encouraged children to make connections within the Catholic religion.
