  • I assist people with their cares at home to help and insure they can live with a safe quality of life in their home until their end of life. I make sure that the families needs are also met, as being a caregiver for a loved one can be time consuming and also cause burn out. Families should be able to enjoy their final days or even months with their loved ones and be making memories with them.

PCT/ HUC

Intermountain Health BMT
02.2020 - 08.2024
  • Assisted nurses in quality care as our patients received treatment for cancer. I would go to transfusion and blood products as needed and help obtain vitals as we ran these per protocol. Got vitals per protocol on rounds. And would help patients with any other needs that they needed as well as working along with what nurses would need. I also for a year worked as the unit HUC. I answered their phones, call lights, scanned orders in. Which for our unit was unique, because most other units sent theirs elsewhere. But our patients were critical and needed tests STAT. I would put in floor inventory. Help physicians with things that they needed, such as scheduling interpreters. Part of the time I also would have a floor assignment as well.

Front Desk Receptionist

Attention Disorder Clinic
06.2018 - 10.2019
  • To answer the phones and assist patients with scheduling appointments. Billing out appointments for the doctors and making sure that the appropriate billing codes were being used. Sending out all scheduled refills via e-scribe and refill requests. Listen to and return voicemails. To check patients in and out of their appointments. And to collect copays and payments as they applied.

CNA Coordinator

ProCare Hospice of Utah
01.2018 - 06.2018
  • I would make sure that there was coverage for all of my patients. I put what CNA I see best fit for that patient's needs and assign them to them. I put together weekly, all of my CNA's schedules. Make sure that payroll for my CNA's are accurate. Order and budget all of the medical and office supplies. And inventory all supplies and make sure that they aren't expired. I help maintain healthy relationships between the facility and my CNA's and handle any problems that may arise with a sensitive manor. Make sure that all CNA's have their charting from the visits done and entered correctly. On-call after hours and triage the calls accordingly.

Administrative Assistant and CNA Coordinator

ProCare Hospice of Utah
01.2018 - 06.2018
  • I would scan and attach new patients orders and legals and put them in their online charts. I would manage the mail and make sure that it gets to the appropriate parties. Print out all order's prior to IDT meetings to make sure that the medical director can sign all the new orders. Make sure that legals are all signed and filled out appropriately and to Medicare's standards. Fax new signed orders to facilities that the patients are located at. Answer and transfer phone calls to the appropriate team member. Put Spreadsheets together on Excel for certain meetings and data for the office. Reason for leaving- Company wasn't picking up in Utah as well as the Vegas office was hoping, so they were closing it down.

  • Answered and took calls from patients and send messages back to their providers and help schedule appointments for them.
