Performance-oriented storyteller. In 2009, I participated in one of the most selective and unique MBA programs in the country, a six month journey working directly with Seth Godin in New York. Much of the focus was on learning new strategies for business modeling, marketing and fundraising. My greatest take-away was discovering the powerful role storytelling plays in our daily lives and decision making. After New York, I would go on to launch a successful social media agency in Atlanta and help countless organizations identify the stories that make a difference, impact fundraising and create positive change.
I started my own consulting agency to focus on brand and connection strategies for clients interested in undertaking the major initiative to transform their marketing and sales with better storytelling. With the goal of fusing community engagement with online purchasing behavior, my clients look for objective, skilled first-hand assistance to advise on all elements of development, execution and distribution of marketing strategies. I support both for profit and not-for-profit organizations, and love to work with clients making a difference. Along with value proposition development, I often educate my clients in CRM software to better manage their relationships with clients and donors.
I started a record label to manage my music publishing. I toured over 10 years as a performing songwriter, touring in both North and South America.
I helped launch TwinBear Global. Our clients included a Fortune 500 restaurant franchise (Golden Corral), law firms, and live events. I wrote the copy for TwinBear's brochure, developed Keynotes for pitch/sales meetings and managed client social channels, including a NING site I built and grew to 50,000+ members in less than two years. Along with client community management, I developed sales materials, creative images, managed newsletters and consulted in alternative revenue streams, including crowdfunding.
