- I worked in an Anthropology Lab for one year at UT. In this lab, I went through footage of red-bellied lemurs in Madagascar (taken by grad students). I filled out a spreadsheet as I was watching, noting any interesting observations on behavior, interactions between lemurs, and specifically the way they used their tails in tandem with their limbs.
- I attended the Marine Science Institute as a part of my semester-long project in my UGS course freshman year. During this trip, we went on the Katy and conducted a plankton pull, as well as a mud grab. We got to handle/learn about many marine organisms, as well as look at a mud sample under a microscope.
- In my freshman EVS 311 course, we went on many field trips, conducting field surveys, water samples, etc.
