While working at Pet Supermarket I gained an abundance of knowledge on animal care and animal products, but I also gained adaptability skills and customer service skills through this employment. Working with customers to assist their pet needs, doing exchanges and returns, as well as cash and online transactions on register. My employment at Claire’s helped with my ability to work in fast paced environments and keeping a friendly, welcoming environment in the store. Through this employment I learned how to work POS as well as close and open the store safely and efficiently. Both jobs provided me with new or improved ways of approaching, handling, and bonding with customers, and also enhanced my knowledge of POS registers, money handling, inventory, and stocking. With every employment I always learn something new or find ways to improve! I’m a college student at FSW and will graduate in the year 2027.
