Emma Bush

This job allows me to assist my head teacher with any and all classroom needs. I not only assist her but also work with the children one-on-one and help them understand the material. I practice leadership and service and encourage the students to keep working hard. It allows good opportunities to learn from other teachers and has given me a skill set the expands to all kinds of work.

• This is not a paid position but I have been part of FCA since 2021 and have been in leadership since 2023
• I work with other leaders to plan small groups, worship nights, fellowship nights, prayer nights, and other events to bring in community.
• I meet with girls one and one for discipleship.
• I just began leading a bible study for a high school track team and have also led a bible study for A&M athletes over the summer.
• I get opportunities to go speak at middle schools or high schools and share a word from the Lord or my testimony.

• Have made strong connections to children and parents.
• Have worked with children on emotional and spiritual issues.
• Assisted children with homework assignments and special projects across different subjects.
• Maintained a clean and organized environment to ensure the well-being of children under care.
• Transported children to and from activities using personal vehicle.
• Administered medications, following strict instructions from parents and medical labels.
• Assisted with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry to support family with additional chores.

• I worked at Montessori for 2 summers and took over many different types of responsibilities.
• I helped the head teachers, teach, feed, change, and organize the kids.
• I had to take charge and make in-the-moment decisions which taught me to truly care for the kids well and have their best interests at heart.
• Kept classrooms clean, neat, and properly sanitized for student health and classroom efficiency.
• I worked closely with toddlers and changed diapers and clothes for the younger children.
• Oversaw students in the classroom and common areas to monitor, enforce rules, and support the lead teachers.
