As a barista, my role was to welcome customers and make sure they had a good experience with the company. I accurately managed a cash flow of $1,000-$1,500 per shift while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. I memorized over 50 customizable menu items and handcrafted each one for over 200 customers a day. I was able to make interpersonal connections with returning customers and first-timers to increase the company image and share company values. I was also given the role of training incoming partners and teaching them my knowledge of the menu, computer systems, cash flow, and company policy within a spread-out 20-hour work period. Lastly, I developed social skills and leadership skills while working in a team and helping run smooth shifts.
My role as a United Spirit Association Instructor was to tour multiple different locations in California to participate in leading cheer camps for middle schoolers, high schoolers, collegiate teams, and elites. I was responsible for one to two teams per camp (30-60 athletes), and guiding them through the USA camp. My role was to demonstrate routines, skills, and stunts to over 700 athletes at a time, performing and explaining each movement.
