Took time off work to prioritize my mental health and well-being, and receive intensive treatment at UCSF

  • Attended UCSF's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for a total of six weeks (5 hrs per day, 5 days per week), as well as UCSF's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for four weeks (3 hours per day, 3 days per week)
  • Developed extensive knowledge of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and DBT-based distress tolerance strategies and coping mechanisms
  • Graduated from my treatment program feeling healthy, well, and enthusiastic about returning to the workforce and advocating/advancing social justice in mental health
