Addendum Questions

I believe a good leader is someone who communicates clearly, shows kindness, and is proactive in solving problems. A great leader is also respectful, responsible, and willing to listen to others. These qualities help create a positive and productive environment where everyone feels valued and motivated. A good leader lifts others up, keeps the team organized, and leads by example., I believe I could be a good leader because I already try to live by the expectations and values of a strong leader. I work hard, support others, and step up when something needs to be done. I have experience working on a team in theatre and church groups, and I always try to make sure everyone feels included and heard. I care deeply about theatre and want everyone involved to succeed and have a great experience., This year, I’ve taken initiative during Fiddler on the Roof by creating a backstage system to help the stage crew stay organized and work together smoothly. Even though I joined late, I didn’t let that stop me from jumping in and helping where I could. I made sure everyone knew their roles, helped pull curtains, and took on responsibilities that helped the show run well. I also try to be a positive example in and out of theatre by being kind, respectful, and reliable., If there were a conflict or negative situation, I would remind everyone that we are a team and that we all need to do our part to show kindness, tolerance, and respect. I would listen to both sides, stay calm, and help find a solution that makes everyone feel heard. I think a big part of resolving problems is creating a safe space where people feel comfortable talking things through., I believe that building a good team environment starts with how we treat each other. If we support one another, include everyone, and work hard, others will notice. That will help us build a strong reputation as a team that is not only talented, but kind, respectful, and fun to be around. Things like team bonding activities, cheering each other on, and helping behind the scenes all help build that reputation., I feel like I really connect with the part of the Honor Code that says, 'A member respects individual differences and fosters diversity. He or she promotes tolerance, inclusion, and empowerment for people from a variety of backgrounds.' I always try to include others, respect their differences, and make everyone feel welcome. I think one area I could continue to grow in is being more confident in speaking up when something feels off or unfair. I’m working on using my voice more to stand up for what’s right, even when it’s hard.
