To Whom it May Concern:
My name is Sharon Wadsworth, MSN-ED, RN, and I am a Lead Lab Faculty member for Grand Canyon University in the College of Nursing Pre-Licensure program. I have been employed there for the past 7 years, teaching lab for Foundations in Nursing and Health Assessment, and currently, Level 2 Adult Med Surg lab, as full time lab faculty. I have also been employed as a nurse, from staff to management, for over 39 years, and have over 14 years' experience teaching and supervising nursing students.
I am writing this letter to offer my recommendation for Emma Ioppini. During the Fall 2022 Semester, I had the pleasure of supervising Emma for 15 weeks of Level 2 Adult Med Surg lab, where the students learned and demonstrated nursing arts such as medication administration, IV insertion, indwelling urinary catheter insertion, oxygen administration, NG tube insertion, and the use of IV pumps, among other things.
In the lab setting, Emma was always professional and conscientious in learning the proper way and best practices to accomplish the aforementioned nursing tasks. The Level 2 semester also contains 3 Benchmark lab skills testing situations…medication administration, IV insertion, and indwelling urinary catheter insertion. Emma passed her 3 Benchmark tests, all on the first attempt, doing an excellent job. I believe Emma demonstrates great nursing potential and would make an excellent addition to any healthcare team. Thank you for your kind consideration of this recommendation.
Sincerely, Sharon Wadsworth, MSN-ED, RN

To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Kaila Allen and I am a Registered Nurse working for Dignity Health at Barrow's Neurological Institute. I am happy to offer my recommendation for Emma Ioppini, who I personally precepted for six shifts this past spring, 2023.
During my time precepting Emma, I witnessed her exemplary skills as a nursing student. She eagerly jumped in to help with every task whether exciting or mundane. She asked appropriate and thoughtful questions demonstrating her desire to learn as a nurse. Furthermore, her bedside manner was comforting, empathetic and kind. Emma also helped other nurses on the floor, showing a hard working and flexible attitude. For these reasons, I believe Emma will be an excellent nurse. Specifically, she has the kind of demeanor and diligent attitude that I believe are necessary on a Labor and Delivery unit. I therefore highly recommend Emma for a Labor and Delivery position.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions.
Respectfully,
Kaila Allen, RN BSN
