Summary

I'm a go getting friendly person with a drive to help the community. I was raised by a stubborn single gen X father who taught me to not back down the work gets difficult. I've worked with animals and know a thing or two about standing my ground when faced with a challenge. I do my best greet everyone with a smile and show them to where the need to be with upmost efficiency. I drive myself to learn new topics and am continuing to expand my education towards the goal of becoming an agriculture educator one day.

Accomplishments

  • I received the Kindness award in the year of 2023, this award was presented to me by my Agriculture instructor Holly Kirkendall. She described this award as an award bestowed to the one she had seen to the greatest amount of kind deeds. From helping classmates to redirecting friends back onto assignments, she was expressed that she was more than excited about the person I was beginning to show her after spending so many years a quiet back of class learner.
  • The Makes a Difference award was bestowed upon me by my Senior class advisor Sheena Kelly. She gave this award forward after watching me take initiative and stay late helping with class activates and preparing guides for my fellow students. She deemed me to be the most likely to step out of my family's comfort zone and change the world for the better, even if it only started with a kind smile.
  • The Leadership Dedication award was presented to me by Trevor Curtis my poliscience and leadership teacher. He presented me with this award after he heard about how I handled a disagreement and advocated for my WAHSET team after a difficult spell of infighting and aggression amongst friends. I stepped out of my quiet backdrop as a pushover leader and demanded we come together and talk about what was occurring. A dear family friend and leader within the club met with Curtis and explained this to him. Being in his leadership class he is all about helping shape us into better us. He couldn't have been more proud of me taking his lessons and applying them to real world scenarios. Therefore, he presented me with the leadership dedication reward as a symbol of how i've grown and impacted those around me for the better.
