When I began this position the older child was four years old, and they are now four and nine years old. I consider us to be close and have loved watching the daughters grow up. In this position I have played with, fed, and changed the kids while maintaining their routine and occasionally taking them on outings to local activities or transporting them safely to classes and extracurriculars. This family has since moved to the triangle area, and while my position is no longer regular, I have remained in contact with the family and babysit a few times a year, with a plan to begin babysitting more regularly now that I live near them again.
