My name is Emma Walsh and me, and my husband recently moved to Silverdale. I’ve been a barista for two years and before that I was an ice cream, scooper, a dishwasher, a prep cook, I shucked oysters and then soon after that, I completely moved to be a barista and occasionally worked at front of the house for two restaurants. Towards the end of graduation, I got a new job at another café and worked at both cafés for a few months until I decide to work fully at a smaller commercial Café.
Since recently moving to Silverdale, I’ve decided that I want to continue being a barista, but be a bit closer to where I live now.
Me and my sister want to open our own café sometime in the future and and for that reason, I want to continue being a barista working at different types of cafés to really understand the gist of running a café and learn new skills.
I played volleyball for 10 years and that really taught me a leadership teamwork communication and good work ethic which I now carry on into me being a barista. I know being a brace is a good fit for me because I’m able to communicate writing people say and really understand who people are through quick conversations. It brings me joy to bring joy to people, simply even just by remembering their drink order.
I’m excited for this opportunity. thank you.
