Awarded 2nd place in State for Ohio FFA for "Effectiveness of Microbial Supplement in Dairy Cattle"
I conducted an independent research project investigating the effectiveness of microbial supplements in dairy cattle milk production. I compared two different microbial supplements varying in price and ingredients to a control group given no supplement by collecting and analyzing milk production data before and after supplementation. The project allowed me to develop hands-on experience with dairy cattle, data collection, scientific research, and statistical analysis. My findings were presented through Ohio FFA's research competition, where the project earned 2nd place at the state level.
